Please take 5 mins to help !!

I suffered my first dislocation of my knee when I was about 14, but was always 'double jointed' as a kid and like most never thought anything of it. I then suffered my second dislocation two years ago and found out that in between the two dislocations I was constantly suffering from sublux dislocations. Only recently I have come across a condition called 'Hyper mobility / EDS' and am trying to find a Doctor here in the UK that is fully aware of this condition.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a genetic connective tissue (collagen) disorder that causes debilitating pain, joint dislocations, organ/arterial rupture/dissections and has resulted in numerous deaths from a lack of knowledge. EDS Today was born in 2000, out of dire necessity to help those with EDS acquire the latest, most upto date medical information and contacts in one resource guide, which is written and by those that know and suffer with this condition. Chase Community Giving are holding an event where you can decide if we will be awarded with a much needed $250,000 funding to help further raise awareness, treatment and possible cure for this condition which is misdiagnosed so frequently and this misdiagnosis has led to deaths, misreporting of child abuse due to the fact that we bruise like the push of a button, loss of babies during pregnancy due to rupture the list goes on...

Please click on the Chase link at the top of my blog, register that you like Chase community and use your two votes to help us stay in the number one spot and pass the link to your friends we really do need your help x I thank you with all of my heart x

New Work In Progress Page x

Bespoke Vintage/Bridal Range
I have finally started to create my range of Bespoke pieces for my Vintage and Bridal Range. All items are crafted from vintage brooches, earrings and necklaces. I can honestly say that my hands are hurting (not helped by my Carpal Tunnel), plus I think I will soon have the roughest palms on the planet, but when I see how these creations are developing it all seems worth it when you have such a beautiful timeless Unique piece made just for you x

When complete, I will be placing these in my soon to be opened Etsy Shop 'IrreplaceableWedding' which will also be home to my Bespoke Necklaces, Hairpieces, Bracelets and other wedding items that will compliment each other beautifully.

Current Works in Progress
So here is my current piece which is being created for 'Jelly Tots' it is nearly finished and I cannot wait to photograph it and show you all when it is complete x

Facebook Shop !!

Well did you know Facebook has the option to add your own little shop to your fan page !!!

I have only just found this out (this morning to be precise) and have already added my shop (plus some of my new items) to my Irreplaceable fan page it really was quick (only one pic allowed though) and no charge.

This seems to be a fairly new application for Facebook, so obviously they are developing and building on comments made by those that have already opened their shops. They have a page that is dedicated to supporting you through the process and a forum for those questions that everyone needs an answer too.

I have chosen to run this shop alongside my Etsy shop mainly for my UK fans who don't have an Etsy account and for those that don't want to open an account just to buy an item - I am really hoping that this will help broaden my UK business.

So what did I need to do. Well firstly you need a Facebook fan page, a paypal account and a Payvment account. I had two of the three and it took me less than two minutes to set up my Payvment account. The Payvment account will forward all of my Facebook purchases to my Paypal account how great is that (http://www.payvment.com/). Payvment also lets you feed your personal website also. There are limitations as to what you can sell, so make sure you check out their terms page (these are mainly things such as adult content, knives, alcohol etc)

Once you have these (if not already), click on the Install App button (linked below if you need it) and follow the directions. It was really quick and took no time at all. You are then given the option to launch your shop, I decided to add my items first then launched my shop so it was stocked and ready to go (ok only a few items as I need to dash out with my bunch of sick kiddies so will add more later today) and I am all done with a new Irreplaceable shop on Facebook. You also have the option to leave your shop public enabling the search facility to be open on your shop and not closed to just your existing fans. Speaking of fans, if someone purchases an item from your Facebook shop and they are an existing fan they will receive a discount automatically when purchasing (that is if you select this option and you decide what discount), if they are not a fan they are given the option to become one !!

So if you fancy giving it ago the link button is below and happy fairy sales to all of you, come back and let me know how you get on xxx

My First Blog !!

If I could find a pic of me biting my nails I would place it right here, my first ever blog so please excuse (not that you should though) any layout errors or just a complete mess, I will be lead by your example and comments so please add some !!

So after all this effort of creating and finding the perfect background, content to start us off, what else will be on this blog ? Good question, for me this will be an evolving process with me being a newbie, the content will obviously change when I have more feedback from your goodselves, but initially you can find shop updates from my newly divided Etsy shops, current and future projects as mentioned below, pics of happy Irreplaceable's. I am also thinking about adding a discussion page (same as facebook page but this feels more nicer and homely) to give people the opportunity to add ideas or embelish on something they have in their heads and see if we can put something truly wonderful together, but that is still in my thought process which can sometimes take a while to fire up :)

You will also find a page devoted to my favourite blogs and shops and you will hate me forever, as you will not be able to get yourself away from the computer once you are lost in their dreamy little worlds, they truly are delicious http://by-irreplaceable.blogspot.com/p/my-favourite-links-sites.html

So what next ?
Dazzle is the first shop that I will be concentrating on as I need to move all current items here from the current shop and also I am currently working on a new range of bespoke vintage necklaces, bracelets and hair accessories to follow after these. I can't wait to show of my new items when they are completed.

Back to work ? If I can stay at home creating I will find a way to achieve this, fingers crossed :) x

Is everyone else blog obsessed ? I think I am going to be - the excitement of a new follower, checking for comments, any more clicks ? Oh no, will I need saving ?

So come along and visit me at Etsy and I am sure you will find other favourite sellers as there are some absolutely gorgeous, unique and unusual items here all made with love x
